Description
Hydrogel wound gel is an amorphous hydrogel that gently rehydrates necrotic tissue, facilitating autolytic debridement while loosening and absorbing slough and exudate. It can clean the tissue surface, even when surfaces are difficult to access, such as deep wound cavities, fissures, and wound pockets. It can also be used to provide the optimal moist wound management environment during the later stages of wound closure.
